If you are a company that places more than 1 tonne of packaging on the market of the Republic of Serbia, you are obliged to meet the national goals prescribed by the competent ministry. You can do this by:

Transfer your obligations to the authorized operator – Interzero PAK
2.
You manage packaging waste independently (with a valid permit)
3.
Pay the state a fee under the Law on Fees for the Use of Public Goods.

POP or Extended Producer Liability as a model of taking responsibility on the territory of the Republic of Serbia was introduced after the adoption of a set of “green” laws in 2009 year. In practice, this model means that you are as a manufacturer, importer, packer/filler and lieutenant of consumer goods packaged in packaging, which are produced or imported and marketed in the territory of the Republic of Serbia, responsible for waste arising from your activities, the placement of products or services, and that you bear the full costs of the consequences of your activities.
